Steve George has served as President and CEO of Fremont Farms of Iowa, LLP since 2002. Fremont Farms is one of the leading providers of liquid egg products to further processors in the U.S. with integrated operations in pullets, layers, and processing. He is also a partner/investor in Iowa Cagefree and other businesses. Steve serves on the board of United Egg Producers, and was recently named Vice-Chair of the American Egg Board. He has also served on various corporate, partnership, non-profit, and banking boards. Prior to joining Fremont Farms, Steve held executive positions with the IBM Corporation (design engineering, product management), Peter Kiewit Sons’, Inc. (corporate development, infrastructure project finance), and a regional investment banking firm. His educational background includes a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Steve grew up on a farm located just outside of Sioux City, Iowa.
