The Egg Industry Center welcomes Naomi Scott as their Communications Intern for 2024.
Scott started her role on May 20 and will contribute to social media campaigns, assist in preparations for the upcoming Egg Industry Issues Forum, and support other communications efforts at the center.
Scott will be a senior at Iowa State University this fall, pursuing a major in Dairy Science with a minor in Agriculture Entrepreneurship. She is involved in many programs on campus and is looking forward to traveling abroad this winter. Scott grew up on a small dairy farm near Westgate, IA, and has developed a deep passion for the food industry.
"I'm thrilled to be part of a team passionate about providing for the farmers, researchers, and consumers of the egg industry,” said Scott. “This opportunity will allow me to enhance my communication skills and develop my understanding of the poultry industry."
